JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – The Ministry of Home Affairs will issue sanctions for regional heads who are suspected of allowing violations health protocol.

Director General of Regional Administration Development Ministry of Home Affairs, Safrizal explained that there were 82 regional heads who had been admonished by Ministry of Home Affairs.

The sanction is reprimanded because the regional heads are considered to have tolerated or participated in violating health protocols in the 2020 Pilkada stages.
For cases of violation of health protocols at the Rizieq Shihab event, the Ministry of Home Affairs is still waiting for the results of the police investigation.
“The highest sanction given by the regional head is a written warning to this day, which has been given. Later, look at the clarification at the Police,” said Safrizal.
