    Police began work on the case on October 29 after a report was filed at around 9.30 pm that a lifeless man had been found with stab wounds. He was found in a car parked in the area of ​​Stoil Voyvoda Square, near the Textile High School in Sliven. Bozhidar, 30, was killed with multiple stab wounds to his body and neck. The young man has no criminal records, he was an athlete. The perpetrator, a 30-year-old man from Sliven, was detained on October 30 as a result of the swift actions of the Sliven police with the assistance of officers from the “Expert Forensic Activity” at the GDNP-Sofia. He was found in his home, did not resist. The detainee is not a criminal, he has a registration for driving after drinking alcohol.

    The two men knew each other, police said. Prosecutor Beleva said that there were personal disputes between them.

    The detainee gave explanations and made some confessions. The perpetrator was charged with a crime – intentional killing in a particularly cruel and painful way for the victim. The penalty for this is imprisonment from 15 to 20 years, life imprisonment and life imprisonment without parole. He was detained for 72 hours, and tomorrow the prosecutor’s office will request a permanent detention measure.
