A state of sadness controls the people Saqr’s children In Sharkia Governorate, due to the death of the young doctor, Mr. Ahmed Abdel Ati, a gynecologist and obstetrician at Saqr Central Hospital, who died of a heart attack while working.
“Abiding by appointments, and dedicated to his work,” this is how Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Metwally, director of Awlad Saqr Hospital, described the deceased doctor, and told “The Seventh Day”, that Dr. El-Sayed Ahmed Abdel-Maaty, 36 years old, came today on time, and conducted medical examinations in the outpatient clinic. After that, he went to the reception to follow up on emergency cases. While standing in the middle of the reception, he fell unconscious, so his fellow doctors rushed to him to help him, but he died after suffering a sudden heart attack.
He added that the news of his death fell on us like a thunderbolt, as throughout his work in the hospital, he was an example of an exemplary doctor who is dedicated to his work, does not be late for his appointment, and performs good services for patients, with skill and integrity.
And he confirmed that the doctor, Mr. Ahmed Abdel-Maati, from the village of Sadfa in the Dakahlia Governorate, is married and has three children, the last of whom is a two-month-old baby.
He added that a delegation from the health department and hospital doctors went to participate in the doctor’s funeral and offer condolences to his family.
And the statement stated: With hearts that believe in God’s will and destiny, and with more sadness and sorrow, Dr. Hisham Shawky Masoud, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Sharkia, the workers of the Directorate of Health Affairs, and all the employees of the Saqr Central Hospital, extend their sincere condolences on the death of the late Dr. El-Sayed Ahmed Abdel-Aty, the gynecologist. and obstetrics at Saqr Sons Central Hospital, who passed away today, Monday, after a heart attack, while performing his work at Saqr Sons Hospital.
The Directorate, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, and all employees of Faqous Central Hospital also offered their sincere condolences on the death of the late Hajar Ibrahim Attia, a nurse in the Physiotherapy Department of Faqous Central Hospital, who passed away after a struggle with illness.
