Al-Marsad Newspaper: The Ministry of Commerce defamed the owner of an establishment specializing in the trade of foodstuffs and consumer goods, called “Badr bin Saleh bin Ali Al-Nahdi,” a Saudi national, and the responsible seller of a Yemeni nationality called “Nahid Ali Saad bin Faris.”
This came after the issuance of a court ruling convicting them of violating the Anti-Commercial Fraud Law by possessing, displaying and selling expired consumer products (26 detergent and cosmetic products).
The Ministry published the judicial ruling issued by the Criminal Court in Arar against the facility located in Turaif Governorate, where the ruling stipulated imposing a fine, confiscating and destroying the seized quantities, and defamation by publishing the ruling in a newspaper at the expense of the violators.
