The Railway Club in Tanta announced the death of boxing player Ramez Hossam, affected by a brain hemorrhage and his entry into a coma, as a result of receiving a strong blow from his opponent at the hands of a competitor at the end of the Republic Youth Championship in the boxing game, and he was transferred on respirators inside Tanta University Hospital.
The young boxer suffered a coma and a concussion due to his participation in a boxing match, during which he fell by a knockout, unconscious, and was transferred in a coma to the emergency hospital at Tanta University in serious condition.
The railway club in Tanta witnessed the incident during the start of the Republic Boxing Championship, where a playoff match was held in the home of the victim player and another player, and ended with the loss of the first by a knockout last Thursday.
The Tanta University Emergency Hospital had received the 17-year-old player, Ramez Hossam, a player of the Police Union Sports Club, after he fell as a result of a brain concussion while participating in the Republic Boxing Championship, which was held at the Railway Club in Tanta.
