The village of Bahr al-Baqar 3, affiliated to the Husseiniya Center in Sharqia, turned black in mourning for the sudden death of one of its youth without any symptoms.
A video clip from a medical clinic’s surveillance camera documented the moment when the young Rushdi Ahmed Abu Hashem, 34, who worked as a cook, died of cardiac arrest while awaiting examination of his sick wife, in an incident that cried hearts during the past hours.
The grieving wife says, “He went in the blink of an eye, during the 13 years of marriage he treated me well, so he was like a husband, father and brother.”
For his part, Mr. Abu Hashem, the cousin of the deceased, said that he used to work as a cook assistant and supported his family consisting of a wife, 3 children of a 12-year-old girl, a 6-year-old child and a 4-year-old girl. He did not complain of any disease throughout his life, and that they live in a state of daze, so death is our right, but What happened is the wisdom of God in death, so the deceased is in good health and did not suspect anything, and his wife is sick, so he brought her to the doctor suddenly, and he fell to the ground dead.
Dr. Hamdy Al-Masoudi, a specialist in surgery at Vafous General Hospital, revealed the details of the incident, to “The Seventh Day” that on Thursday, September 24, while he was in his medical clinic, “Rushdi Ahmed Abu Hashem” 35 years old, a chef residing in Bahr Al-Baqar 3 village, accompanied his wife, entered the medical examination on her independently. A “tuk tuk” led by the husband’s father.
Within three minutes of their arrival, the husband fell dead. As soon as they entered and the husband sat on the chair while his wife was standing next to him, the deceased bowed and fell on the ground, and when she went out after hearing the sounds of screaming and distress, and examining him, she found that he was breathing his last and the heartbeat and soul stopped.
He added that the deceased was of good character and reputation, and he visited a clinic with any patient from his family to check him in my specialty, pointing out that the wife and the father of the deceased had collapsed, and the people moved the deceased to his home.
And the pioneers of social media circulated a video clip showing a man accompanying his sick wife to the doctor’s clinic to conduct some independent medical examinations, “tuktuk”, and the husband was walking well on his feet without showing any symptoms of illness or death on him.
