In this context, the Council of Ministers stressed the contents of the speech of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God protect him – at the extraordinary meeting of the leaders of the BRICS group and the countries invited to join regarding the situation in Gaza, and the call for a comprehensive cessation of military operations, the protection and relief of civilians, and the emphasis on The Kingdom’s firm position is that there is no way to achieve security and stability except through the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
His Excellency the Minister of Information, Mr. Salman bin Youssef Al-Dosari, explained, in his statement to the Saudi Press Agency after the session, that the Council renewed what the Kingdom confirmed during the virtual summit of the leaders of the G20 countries under the Indian presidency, of its commitment to continue its comprehensive efforts to confront climate change, and to give high priority to the implementation of the common framework. To address debts; This reflects the interest in enhancing international cooperation in various fields, and finding concrete solutions to support the global economy.
The Council of Ministers touched on the outcomes of the Fifth Arab Water Conference held in Riyadh, highlighting the Kingdom’s active role in addressing water challenges at the regional and international levels.
