Giza Governorate is witnessing the development and construction of many gigantic longitudinal and transverse traffic axes, and they will contribute to the provision of new traffic arteries that alleviate traffic congestion, achieve traffic liquidity, and reduce the distance of trips in the Greater Cairo region, within the framework of the great efforts made by the state to overcome traffic densities in Various regions of the Republic, especially the governorates of Cairo and Giza.
And promise Ahmed Orabi axis One of the most prominent traffic axes that is witnessing development and expansion works in Giza Governorate to reduce traffic density on the 26th of July Corridor, and we explain the most important information about it in the following lines:
The axis connects Al-Mansheya Road with Ahmed Orabi Street.
It is 11 km long and 6 lanes wide in each direction.
The axis has been linked to the ring road and Kamal Amer axis.
Contributes to solving the problem of increasing traffic congestion on the 26th of July Corridor from the Ring Road to Lebanon Square and Sphinx Square in Mohandessin.
The new corridor aims to reduce traffic pressure on some densely populated areas, such as Al-Barajil, Saft Al-Laban, Tersa, and Imbaba.
The corridor passes through many vital places, such as the new Bashtil station, which will witness high traffic density after its operation.
It is noteworthy that the Giza governorate recently witnessed the operation of the new axis of Lieutenant General Kamal Amer in the distance from its intersection with the ring road in the Munib area in the south, until its intersection with the ring road in the north in the Imbaba area, with a length of 12 km and a width of (33-65.5) m, and to maximize the benefit from the project, an extension is underway. The axis to connect with the Tahya Misr axis in the north, so that the total length of the axis is 15 km.
