Another case of aggression in a capital mall days after another shopping center complained about a group of youths behaving rudely and threatening visitors.
This evening, a group of teenagers brutally attacked a 23-year-old employee in a shopping center in the “Manastirski Livadi” district of the capital around 6:30 p.m., NOVA reports.
According to an eyewitness at the scene, the conflict started on the first floor of the mall.
“What I saw was a big commotion coming from the pastry shop in the mall. They were chasing one of the waiters who went up to make a remark to them because they were spitting on the staff and customers of the establishment,” said a witness to the incident.
The dramatic events continued on the ground floor, where the attackers knocked down the employee in front of the Information desk.
“They started kicking him in the groin and stomach. They punched him in the face. They ran into customers and other employees of the mall,” adds the eyewitness.
The victim was transported to the Military Medical Academy, where a concussion was diagnosed. Hospitalization in the neurosurgery clinic was necessary.
Police and emergency teams have arrived at the scene.
The 16-year-old suspects ran away and are currently being sought by law enforcement.
