Details of the 2023 Mazatec Carnival in Guatemala
The carnival began on Saturday, February 18 and will end on Saturday, February 25, 2023 with one of the most anticipated concerts, Elvis Crespo, Big Boy y Joey Montana.
In addition, the queen’s election was held over the weekend, Daniela Eunice Nix Ixen, who will share in all activities. What a chili!
Parades and music at the carnival
Las activities during the carnival will have the following activities from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.:
- Monday February 20: children’s parade and costume contest
- Tuesday February 21: parade of comparsas and concert by Jossie Esteban and the Patrol 15
- Wednesday February 22: intercultural parade, gastronomic festival and altar contest
- Thursday February 23: equestrian parade and concert by Banda Limón from El Salvador
- Friday February 24: military parade, parachute exhibition, Mexican comedian dinner show and concert of Ale Mendoza & Los Miseria Cumbia Band. To enter you must bring food.
- Saturday February 25: night parade and concert of Elvis Crespo, Big Boy y Joey Montana at the Carlos Salazar Jr. stadium.
In addition, you can enjoy activities in different restaurants and recreational centers where families can share.
