Destination Beauce will focus on leisure, business and group tourism

Destination Beauce has unveiled its new strategic plan for the next 4 years. It is the result of around twenty consultation meetings held with around one hundred partners. Destination Beauce will focus on leisure, business and group tourism.

The organization wants to increase the number of tourism businesses in its network by 5% per year and train more people in tourist reception, particularly in front-line services such as gas stations and convenience stores.

“The Route de la Beauce will also become a major appeal product,” said Marie-Émilie Slater Grenon, director of tourism development at Destination Beauce.

It should be noted that between 2017 and 2020, more than $ 1.6 million was invested in promoting the region through 29 promotional campaigns in which nearly 300 companies participated.

Global studies show that it will take around 2 years for the tourism industry to regain the milestones acquired in the years preceding the pandemic.
