Although players, coaches and other club members are only required to stay in Disneyland, some basketball players are allowed to leave the so-called bubble if there is a serious reason for it. Thus, Orlando left the New Orleans Pelicans light for a few days Zion Williamsonwho went home for family reasons.
However, the case of Louis Williams, the defender of the Los Angeles Clippers, caused much more resonance. He also left Orlando due to family circumstances, but a few days later rapper Jack Harlou posted a picture of Williams on one of his Instagram accounts to one of Atlanta’s strip clubs. The picture was quickly deleted, but the next day Harlou wrote that it was an old picture.
The NBA launched an investigation, and Williams confirmed that he visited a strip club after his grandfather Paul’s funeral. The guard returned to the bubble on Saturday and was quarantined for ten days. This means that the American will not be able to help his team in the first two games after the resumption of the championship – on July 30 against the Los Angeles Lakers and on August 1 against the New Orleans Pelicans.
The championship will resume on the night of July 31 with two matches – at 1:30 Latvian time, Utah Jazz will play against Pelicans, but in the second game at 4:00 will be the Los Angeles derby – Lakers vs. Clippers.
