/ world today news/ Delyan Dobrev will submit his request to leave the National Assembly today, and later he will be heard by his colleagues from the GERB parliamentary group. The “Kumgate” scandal, because of which he left politics, gathered the assets of GERB in the region late last night in Haskovo, bTV reports.
Although all the organizations in the region stood behind their deputy, he is firmly determined to leave the parliament, and whether he will remain the regional coordinator of GERB will be decided by the party’s Executive Committee.
“The decision is very difficult for me, but it is a personal decision, I have taken it, I have thought about it and I have taken it,” said Dobrev.
“I think that Delyan Dobrev’s stay in politics, and why not in the Bulgarian parliament, is worthy, we don’t have politicians with such expertise to take them out one after the other”, stressed the deputy chairman of GERB Tsvetan Tsvetanov.
