Behind the various problems that hit Cyberpunk 2077, the game made by CD Projekt Red has sold 13 million copies.
The number of sales was revealed in the game developer’s report to investors. Even though the launch was not exactly smooth, this achievement is still extraordinary.
Sales of these 13 million copies count from December 10, when the game was released, to December 20. Even so, this figure is only half of analysts’ predictions for Cyberpunk 2077 sales for a year, which analysts issued before it was revealed that the game was problematic.

“SIE strives to ensure high customer satisfaction, and we will start offering full refunds to all players who buy Cyberpunk 2077 through the PlayStation Store and want a refund,” said Sony in its official announcement about the deletion of Cyberpunk 2077.
After launch, Cyberpunk 2077 fine if played on PC with good spec. But it turns out that when played on the console, lots of bugs appear, so gamers feel frustrated.
“I was very happy but the first thing I saw was this game like the Nintendo 64. Then in 10 minutes, this game crashed. It’s a bad experience after so big hype,” said a gamer in England named Patrick Swift.
CD Project has also been the target of criticism, especially since they only allowed reviews on high end PCs before launch, so the results were good. Only then did it find out that this game was very lousy on consoles.
