“Especially in corona times, blood donations are more important than ever,” emphasized Mayor Richard Kammerer during a visit to the multi-purpose hall. The Mantel market had made these available to the BRK blood donation service for the campaign. The number of 100 planned donors was even exceeded, 114 people came, each with half a liter of blood drawn. Eleven donated for the first time, four were included in the bone marrow donation register. As the helpers explained, a man can donate blood six times a year and a woman four times. At the exit, the blood donors were given a bag with cheese and sausage rolls, power bars and a drink to strengthen them. In October there will be another blood donation appointment in the multi-purpose hall in Mantel.
