Last year, by order of the Orthodox Christian party, the Second Love posters had to disappear from all bus stops in Bunschoten-Spakenburg, writes RTV Utrecht.
According to the SGP, the site encourages adultery. The mayor and aldermen’s college and the local VVD supported the ban.

It is not the first time that the SGP is getting excited about advertising posters from a dating site. They spoke last year out over the Novamora advertising poster with two kissing women on it.

In 2013, SGP leader Kees van der Staaij already resisted Second Love. “Such a site puts a bomb under relationships, even when it concerns good marriages,” Van der Staaij then said.
Second Love decided voluntarily after consultation with the STER in 2016 no more advertising on the public broadcaster before 9 p.m.
