Anti Covid legislation once again disregarded: fines for the owner of a gym in Margherita di Savoia and 9 of his customers who trained there
In Italy “in color” as a result of anti-contagion restrictions from Covid there is no room for amateur sports, yet the yellow flames of the Tenenza di Margherita di Savoia, in the province of Barletta-Andria-Trani, they surprised 9 guys who were training in a gym. The owner of the structure, therefore, in defiance of current legislation, allowed some customers to practice sports in the weight room and in the fitness area. In order not to attract attention, the gym, over 400 square meters and home to an Amateur Sports Association, it had the shutters down and the signs
spente also because the customers they entered through the entrance located at the rear of the building.

However, the aforementioned trick did not completely disguise the illegal sporting activity that was practiced inside the gym: to make financiers suspicious, in fact, the constant presence of cars parked outside the building, which is incompatible with an activity not open to the public. Therefore, after a brief stakeout, the yellow flames broke into the gym surprising the owner while, as a trainer, he supervised the physical activity of his associates.
Both the owner of the sports center and each of the 9 who were training were raised the administrative sanction from 400 to 1,000 euros for violation of the anti-contagion provisions from Covid. Also charged to the owner temporary closure of the business.
