Despite Corona: rush of visitors in the snow-covered Rhön

Forests covered in deep snow and overcrowded parking spaces: the picture book-like snow landscape in the Rhön has triggered a rush of visitors in recent days ?? despite all corona restrictions. Even if the lifts remained closed, numerous winter sports enthusiasts were drawn to tobogganing, cross-country skiing or walking in the north of Lower Franconia. “There was a lot going on,” confirms Rhön-Grabfelds District Administrator Thomas Habermann (CSU). With regard to the infection control measures regulation, however, all rules have been observed.
