TRIBUNNEWS.COM – A passenger on an airplane who is sick becomes a spreader of the corona virus or Covid-19 to another 15 people on the flight from London ke Vietnam.
The passenger is a 27 year old businesswoman Vietnam.
According to the journal Emerging Infectious Diseases, this Vietnamese woman experienced a sore throat and cough before boarding the March 1 flight and tested positive for the coronavirus four days later.
Contact tracing carried out on March 10 gave the result that the woman managed to infect 14 other passengers and one crew member on the plane.
This is stated in the study, which was recently published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
“The risk of transmitting SARS-CoV-2 on board during long-haul flights is real and has the potential to cause large COVID-19 groups,” the study explained.
