The groom with the initials FA in Polewali Mandar (Polman) Regency, West Sulawesi (West Sulawesi), desperate to run away before his wedding. The family suspects that FA ran away because he was not fully ready to marry.
FA’s cousin, Linda, said FA and the bride-to-be, MI, are currently both studying at high school in Polman. The family then hastily married the two.
Apparently the FA did not agree with his family’s decision. That’s why FA allegedly ran away exactly 3 days before his wedding.
“(FA) still wants to go to school, he’s not ready (to get married), especially when he’s only in high school class I, so he ran away before his wedding day,” Linda told detikSulselWednesday (19/7/2023).
The wedding was finally held even though the FA ran away. This is because the FA’s older brother, Ahmad Adzyan, is willing to replace his younger brother’s position.
“Finally the family asked the older sister to replace it, moreover, all the preparations had been made. She was also immediately willing to (get married) for the sake of the family,” he explained.
