Each hour that passes can determine whether little 9-year-old Valentina missing since Friday from her father’s house, she’s alive … or not.
Francisco Moita Flores, a criminalist, believes that Valentina ran away from home, ruling out the possibility of kidnapping or murdering this strange case that is moving the country. The CMTV writer and commentator also recalls that Valentina recently won a brother and that this may have caused a feeling of abandonment in the child – a very common fact, in the genesis but not in the consequences. “If she ran away from home it seems to me obvious that she did it because she needed attention. The escape hypothesis has mobilized the population of the Peniche area, where the girl was, to join the authorities and look for the child. However, in this movement, every hour counts.
