Atanasova expressed confidence that there will be a cabinet. “The demand is so strong and everyone’s drive for power is so strong – yes, yes. I think there will be a government. Who will construct it, who will lead it, who will be responsible? It doesn’t matter to those people, I think, who will stand as the majority. It is important for them that GERB is erased from everywhere, that they behave ugly in the plenary hall – without any respect for the political opponent or colleague within this National Assembly, and that from now on they set the rules. But everything is temporary in this world and things are changing.
According to her, GERB will definitely be in opposition. “This role was assigned to us by the Bulgarian citizens. We, as well as any other party, are obliged to comply with them. Yes, we will be able to enter the role of opposition. I think that in addition to constructive opposition, we will also be a prepared opposition.
