Winterthur – Designwerk Technologies AG is offering its fully electric lowliner to interested parties in Germany for testing. Fleet operators can test the tractor unit in their daily business for two to four weeks. Demand is high.
Die Designwerk Technologies AG is making its fully electric MID CAB Semi Lowliner 4x2T available in Germany for testing purposes. The Lowliner can be rented from the German rental partner GTT Greiwing Truck & Trailer can be rented for two to four weeks, Designwerk informs in a notice“The test tour is aimed at fleet operators whose fleet consists of low-liner tractor units and who want to gain experience with e-mobility in this particular area of application,” Fabian Bahlmann, Sales Manager E-Trucks Europe North at Designwerk, is quoted as saying.
At the beginning of each test phase, the companies receive a mini e-mobility training session on operations and deployment routes. After the test phase is completed, a personal final interview with an individual evaluation takes place. Demand for test slots is high, writes the Winterthur-based specialist for electromobility. Rental partner GTT Greiwing Truck & Trailer has purchased “a double-digit number” of the fully electric trucks from Designwerk based on positive funding decisions.
