With the rising autumn sun, FC Utrecht O13-1 and SC Heerenveen O13 took to the field at the Zoudenbalch sports park. It was number 2 FC Utrecht O13-1 against number 3 SC Heerenveen O13. The team of coach Sander van der Kleij started the match strongly. The first chance came after a good attack for Nasya Leihitu, but he aimed just too high. A few minutes later, Nasya Leihitu scored. After a deflected corner, he was able to pick up the ball around the box and get it over the keeper into the goal, 1-0. FC Utrecht O13-1 continued to attack and had some options with Rayan Braikate and Marley Keizer. The 2-0 came from the foot of Ceylian Vlijter after striker Mohamed Konneh was brought down in the box. Ceylian Vlijter shot the ball hard, through the keeper’s hands, into the goal. FC Utrecht O13-1 gave away few chances due to good cooperation between central defenders Wouter Kuijf and Younick Verheul. Both teams went into halftime with the score 2-0.
After the break, FC Utrecht O13-1 started very sharply and 3 goals were scored in 7 minutes. Rayan Bouhali was sharp on the rebound for the 3-0, Rayan Braikate had a nice solo at the 4-0 and Mohamed Konneh was able to tap the ball in for the 5-0.
After the 5-0, FC Utrecht O13-1 became a bit restless and lost the ball too easily. SC Heerenveen O13 took advantage of this by scoring 2 goals in quick succession. It seemed to be exciting again, but a few minutes later Erdem Akan had a perfect assist for Abel van Veen. He thus determined the score at 6-2. FC Utrecht O13-1 played offensively and created many chances early in the morning and thus holds 2nd place with 12 points from 5 games in the 1st division A.
