The customer requirements / services sub-project has the task of defining a transparent and assessed IT service catalog with a view to the needs of research, teaching, study and administration for the Free University of Berlin.

Due to the large number of IT services to be identified and documented over the next few months, the sub-project will proceed in several phases.
In the first phase, the sub-project drew up an initial list of IT services:
- Scientific Computing
- Research data processing
- Library management
- Accounts
- Managed workstations
- Server-Services (Infrastruktur)
- Communication and collaboration
These IT services will now be described in detail in individual working groups with the respective contact persons and those primarily responsible. The description includes, for example, variants and options as well as quality promises, such as times for operation, support and feedback.
After the first descriptions, a number of other services will be processed in the course of the project until September 2022.
