The lead bill, HB 1B, bans local government vaccine mandates for employees. For private companies, any vaccine requirements for workers must include exemptions for religious or medical reasons. Any worker who has previously had COVID-19 is also exempt, as is anyone who agrees to undergo periodic COVID-19 testing and wear protective equipment.
