Derbystar footballs
In March 1995, the world football association FIFA decided that footballs used in FIFA matches or national championships must meet certain minimum requirements. The footballs are tested, certified and given the “International Matchball Standards” label or the “FIFA APPROVED” or “FIFA INSPECTED” logo.

Care instructions – A DERBYSTAR ball has a long lifespan if the following instructions are observed:
– Before inflating: Shake the ball vigorously so that the bladder lies loosely and vertically under the valve opening.
– Add one or two drops of valve oil into the valve opening. Do this regularly so that the valve holds air better and does not dry out.
– Pump up the ball regularly. Make sure that the pump and the ball are in a vertical position. Always use a pump nipple.
– Use an air pressure gauge to check that the recommended air pressure (stated on the ball) is maintained.
– Clean the ball with lukewarm water. Dry the ball with a cloth and store it in a room with a temperature of 15-20 °C.
Players Number
Good balls are important for every club. That’s why Derbystar makes it a little easier for your team to look after their balls – with the PLAYERS NUMBER. On every DERBYSTAR ball there is a field with the digital number on which the player or team number can be written by painting over white elements with a ball marker. This way every player always knows where his ball is and your team’s balls cannot get lost.
