Ready for the derby! Photo: Eichholzer SV
Lübeck – Directly on the second matchday, promoted team Eichholzer SV hand over the next business card. It is against the ATSV Stockelsdorfwho was defeated in the first game and wants to make amends. ESV coach Hanifi Demir: “We are looking forward to the derby, we have been warned that the ATSV team will definitely show a different face due to last week’s result. With Schunke, Funck, Martens, Hempel and 2 x Nunold, we are still missing 5-6 regular players. We will make the best of it.” ATSV co-trainer Tamino Kraft knows how difficult the task is: “On Sunday we face Eichholzer SV, who will be a strong opponent and will demand a lot from us. It will definitely not be an easy game, because Eichholz certainly doesn’t want to be left without any points in their first Oberliga home game. Nevertheless, we have something to make up for after the first matchday and are motivated to give it our all.”
Away tours, Hagen does not want to be predictable
After the good starts, both the SV Wahlstedt (at Frisia) as well as SSC Hagen-Ahrensburg (at SG NieBar). Wahlstedt coach Hempel: “With Frisia 03 we have one of the top teams in front of us on Saturday. Nevertheless, it is important that we continue to look at ourselves and continue to develop positively. We are in a process that will accompany us throughout the season and presents us with difficult tasks every weekend. We have to bring our identity and intensity onto the pitch from the start. We want to do better on Saturday what was difficult for us against Stjernen until the 1-0. We have clear patterns and if we manage to position ourselves in them, I expect something tangible.” Hagen coach Marc Mandel has set a win as its goal: “We are ready and have prepared well. We want to win the game and know that nothing will be given to us. We have a very good and broad squad, which makes us difficult to predict.”
