Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev was appointed head of the working group to ensure the prevention and elimination of environmental pollution in the Usolye-Sibirskoye region. The corresponding decree was signed by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.

Let us remind you that Usolyekhimprom is a chemical enterprise in the city of Usolye-Sibirsky, Irkutsk region. Its production activities were suspended in 2010 because the company went bankrupt and did not fulfill its obligations to eliminate accumulated damages. The total area of ​​the Usolyekhimprom industrial site is 610 hectares, with more than 200 industrial facilities located on it.
