Deputy Minister in Malaysia fell asleep during school events, was repeatedly awakened without responding

PUTRAJAYA, KOMPAS.com – Deputy Minister Profession Malaysia Datuk Eddin Syazlee fall asleep in front of people while attending an activity school.

In a video that spreads on social media, Eddin appears asleep on a large chair on the stage.

The two people beside him tried to wake Eddin up. However, these attempts were unsuccessful and Eddin remained asleep in his chair.

After several tries, a man suddenly came up to Eddin and woke him up.

The man’s attempt was successful and Eddin finally woke up. Eddin then stood up and the people greeted him with fanfare.

The video of the incident then becomes viral and spread on social media.

Launch World of Buzz, Eddin fell asleep while attending the Khataman Al-Qur’an and the 5th Hufaz Graduation at School Kuala Pilah Science Religious Secondary School in Negeri Sembilan, on 10 April.

As a result of the incident, Eddin finally apologized and admitted that he fell asleep in the activity he attended.

Rays reported, Eddin’s Special Staff, Farahiah Zubir, said that Eddin was tired and not feeling well while attending the event.

Apart from being the Deputy Minister of Employment of Malaysia, Eddin is also a Member of Parliament for Malaysia from the Kuala Pilah constituency.

Zubir added that, although tired, Eddin insisted on attending the activity in order to fulfill the committee’s invitation.

During the event, Eddin agreed to install air conditioning in the Kuala Pilah Science Religious Middle School Hall and help procure school buses for his students.
