The chairman of the Pelita Party Consultative Council, Din Syamsuddin, claimed that many retired generals would join the Pelita Party. However, Din did not reveal further about the retired general who was said to be joining the Pelita Party.

“I can’t say his name, it’s unethical for me. But I got a message that people are not only retired from the TNI or Polri, but also various other groups,” he said.
