Sad news coming from Deputy Chief of Police Komjen Gatot Eddy Pramono. Gatot’s wife, Tutik Gatot Eddy, passed away.
Tutik died on Friday (7/4). The sad news was first conveyed by the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo via his personal Instagram account. Sigit, representing the large family of the National Police, also offers his condolences.
“Innalillahi wa innailaihi rojiuun. I and the entire extended family of the Indonesian National Police share our deepest condolences for the passing of Ms. Tutik Gatot Eddy, beloved wife of Mr. Deputy Chief of Police Komjen. Pol. Prof. Dr. Gatot Eddy Pramono, M.Sc,” said Sigit.
The grief of Komjen Gatot’s family was also felt by a number of figures in Indonesia. Several figures attended the funeral home and even the funeral procession which was held today at the Joglo TPU, West Jakarta.
National Police Chief Remembers Tutik as Bhayangkari Pelita Keluarga
National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo conveyed his condolences for the passing away of Komjen Gatot’s wife, Tutik Gatot Eddy. Tutik, said Sigit, was a loving, simple and religious figure. Sigit said that the deceased was Bhayangkari who had always been a support and light for the family.
“The deceased was a woman who was compassionate, simple and religious, a Bhayangkari figure who was always the strength and light for the family,” he said.
Sigit prayed that Tutik’s deeds of worship would be accepted by Allah. Sigit hopes that the family left behind will be given fortitude.
“Let’s all pray that the late Husnul Khotimah will be accepted by all his good deeds and get a noble place in the sight of Allah SWT. May the family left behind be given fortitude and sincerity, amen O Robbal Alamin,” he added.
JK to Firli Bahuri pay their respects to the funeral home
The 10th and 12th Vice Presidents of the Republic of Indonesia Jusuf Kalla (JK) paid their respects to the funeral home for the wife of Deputy Chief of Police Komjen Gatot Eddy Pramono, Tutik Gatot Eddy, in South Meruya, West Jakarta. Apart from JK, KPK chairman Firli Bahuri also attended the funeral.
JK shared this moment via his personal Instagram, @jusufkalla. Seen by detikcom on Saturday (8/4/2023), JK was accompanied by his wife, Mufidah Jusuf Kalla.
JK’s arrival was welcomed by the Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian. JK seemed to shake hands one by one the guests who came to the funeral home. One of them is Firli Bahuri.
After that, JK sat in front of the body and said a prayer for the deceased. Apart from Firli, another figure present was former Indonesian Ambassador to Ukraine Yuddy Chrisnandi.
“The funeral for the late Mrs. Tutik Gatot Edi, wife of Mr. Deputy Chief of Police Komjen Pol Gatot Eddy. Hopefully the deceased will be husnulkhatimah. Al Fatihah,” said JK via his Instagram, Saturday (8/4/2023).
