The plenary meeting of the DPR RI was marked by the collapse of the Deputy Chairperson of Banggar Muhidin Mohamad Said. Muhidin collapsed after submitting the DPR Banggar report related to the RAPBN for the 2023 fiscal year.
The DPR plenary meeting was held at the Nusantara II Building Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday (30/62022). Muhidin Said read out the DPR’s Budget Agency report on the results of the preliminary discussions on the RAPBN for Fiscal 2023 and the government’s work plan for 2023.
After reading the report, Muhidin went to the DPR leadership desk to submit documents. Muhidin suddenly collapsed after saying goodbye in front of the chair of the DPR session.
Muhidin fall down. He was then rescued and the medical team entered the plenary room of the DPR.
The agenda for today’s meeting are:
1. Submission of the DPR RI Budget Board Report on the Results of the Preliminary Discussions on the RAPBN for Fiscal Year 2023 and the Government Work Plan for 2023;
2. Submission of Government Information on the Bill on Accountability for the Implementation of the State Budget for the 2021 Fiscal Year;
3. Level II Discussion/Decision Making on:
a) Bill on the Province of West Sumatra;
b) Bill on Riau Province;
c) Bill on Jambi Province;
d) Bill on the Province of West Nusa Tenggara; and
e) Bill on the Province of East Nusa Tenggara.
4. Level II Discussion/Decision Making on:
a) Bill on the Establishment of the Province of South Papua;
b) Bill on the Establishment of the Province of Central Papua; and
c) Bill on the Establishment of the Papua Mountains Province.
5. Report of Commission III of the DPR RI on the results of the discussion of the Candidates for Supreme Court Justices and Ad Hoc Judges Corruption at the Supreme Court in 2021/2022, followed by decision making;
6. Opinions of the factions on the Draft Bill on the Initiative for Members of the DPR RI on Maternal and Child Welfare, followed by Decision Making to become the Proposed Bill of the DPR RI.
