Deputy Chairman of BSP Criticizes Missile Repairs and NATO Troop Expansion in Bulgaria

The missiles cannot be repaired in Bulgaria, but neither can they be repaired in Ukraine. They will be used as we send them. No one can say what the exact malfunction is. The rockets are hermetically sealed. The repair is done at the manufacturer’s factory. The moment we give them, they will go directly to the front. This was said by the deputy chairman of the BSP Atanas Zafirov in the studio of Denyat ON AIR.

By his words, the National Assembly was about to vote a blank check under which the definition of “defective missiles” could have been donated to the entire amount of missiles we have. “The only thing that can happen to a malfunctioning missile is that it does not go into action,” commented Zafirov.

According to him, Defense Minister Todor Tagarev is carrying out actions that harm our security.

“For everything we have donated so far, we have not received a single lev. The same will happen with these rockets,” said the deputy chairman of the BSP on Bulgaria ON AIR.

Zafirov also condemned the government’s decision to build a new town near Yambol for NATO troops.

“They will give 100 million for the construction of a new city near Yambol. This is a battalion combat group. It is a ground component that is not really needed,” commented Atanas Zafirov.

When asked if there was a risk to our national security, he replied that it had gone from hypothetical to real.
