What made matters worse was that the politician left the session after it ended without being held accountable, and he was not summoned by the authorities until this moment.
While voices on social media demanded his arrest and investigation, according to India Today.
It is noteworthy that this incident aroused great anger in the country, as the opposition demanded that the most severe penalties be imposed on the deputy.
The leader of the opposition, Animesh Debarma, said that the deputy defamed everyone, referring to the officials in the country.
He also pointed out that the use of mobile phones is completely prohibited in such gatherings.
Despite this, Parliament Speaker Biswabando Sen confirmed that he had not yet received a complaint on this issue, explaining that the matter had spread on social media, and he could not comment without a formal complaint, then he would investigate and act according to the rules of the association.
