Deputies from “Vazrazhdane”, “There is such a people” and BSP blocked the parliamentary rostrum because of the dismantling of the figures of the Monument to the Soviet Army and the changes to the Constitution.
According to the leader of “Vazrazhdane” Kostadin Kostadinov, “it is time for the protest to go behind the thick walls of the former Party House after the rulers do not listen to the voice of one million voters”.
The Chairman of the National Assembly, Rosen Zhelyazkov, urgently convened a chairman’s council to familiarize the parties with the dismantling documentation, but even after that, the opposition MPs did not allow the plenary session to begin.
The National Assembly was supposed to adopt the budgets of the State Social Security and the Health Fund in the second reading today.
