Kiril Petkov made a statement after the vote
The deputies finally adopted the state budget for 2022. After the vote, Prime Minister Kiril Petkov made a statement from the parliamentary rostrum.
“I want to thank you for working so hard, intensively and in coordination in recent days,” he said.
MPs have been discussing state money since Wednesday with extended working hours and midnight sessions.

The financial macro framework envisages BGN 32.764 billion in revenues. Tax revenues are BGN 30.352 billion. Budget expenditures amount to BGN 20.061 billion.
BGN 4.8 billion are subsidies for municipalities for 2022. BGN 5 million were allocated for subsidies for bus transport for settlements in semi-mountainous and mountainous areas.
The hall also approved a proposal by the BSP for BGN 20 million to increase the salaries of teachers at state universities.
The bill set the minimum wage to increase to BGN 710.
