An abnormal situation on flight PQ0421 was a depressurization – the passengers needed oxygen masks.
The plane of the SkyUp Kiev-Batumi airline on Thursday, June 24, returned to Boryspil airport shortly after takeoff due to depressurization. The video, filmed in the cabin, was published by netizens.
It is reported that the start of the flight took place as usual. However, 20 minutes later, after the plane had taken off the runway, a burning smell was heard on board, and then oxygen masks fell out. Passengers took advantage of them.
As stated in the airline, the reasons for the emergency are being investigated by experts.
Earlier at Simferopol airport outside the runway a passenger airliner rolled out Boeing, thus blocking the operation of the airport. There were 284 people on board the plane performing the flight Simferopol-Moscow.
