The man with the initials SY (23) was arrested by the police persecution against a woman with the initials YO (19). Not only did he persecute, SY did too raped women who is his ex-girlfriend.
West Jakarta Metro Police Head of Criminal Investigation Unit, Commissioner Haris Kurniawan, revealed that the suspect carried out this lecherous act because he was burning with jealousy. The suspect didn’t accept it because YO was close to another man.
“The motive was that the perpetrators were burning with jealousy, because the victim YO, after breaking up with the suspect SY alias SAM, was close to another person, namely Brother R,” Haris said at a press conference at the West Jakarta Metro Police, Monday (29/1/2023).
This incident occurred at an expedition office in West Jakarta, on Saturday (14/1), around 12.30 WIB. At that time, SY visited the victim and perpetrator who both worked at the expedition service office.
SY came suddenly throwing a helmet at R, the lover of the victim YO. The victim YO who saw this tried to intervene.
“YO, who saw the action, immediately separated the two of them to avoid a fight. Because he was still burning with emotion, SY then pulled YO to the third floor of the office,” said Haris.
Haris said there were several witnesses on the 2nd floor who saw it fight That included R. However, the witnesses did not try to follow the victim and perpetrator who went up to the 3rd floor.
“They think YO and SY and above only want to solve problems. So leave them alone,” said Haris.

Video Threatened Victim
Instead of solving the problem, SY even abused YO to the point of raping her. SY recorded this lecherous act and used it as a tool to threaten the victim.
“The victim said, if you report to the police, this recording will spread around socmed,” he explained.
The victim then reported the incident to the West Jakarta Metro Police. SY’s perpetrators were arrested on Sunday (29/1) on Jalan Bandengan Raya, Tambora, West Jakarta.
“The West Jakarta Metro Police Jatanras Operations Team knew of the whereabouts of the perpetrator in the Tambora area and immediately went to the location and succeeded in securing the perpetrator who was on a motorbike on Jalan Bandengan Raya, Tambora, West Jakarta,” he said.
As a result of his actions, SY’s perpetrators were subject to Article 6 letter B of RI Law Number 12 of 2002 concerning Crimes of Sexual Violence and Article 289 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 351 of the Criminal Code with a maximum threat of 12 years in prison.
