The two-part documentary series “Johnny vs. Amber” is available to watch on the streaming platform HBO Max. The two parts contain exclusive evidence, an intimate personal archive and in-depth interviews from both legal teams and explore the defamation case between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard in the UK High Court, as well as the important and pressing issue of domestic violence.
Johnny v Amber looks back at all the evidence presented during the UK case. The first part explores the stormy marriage and subsequent legal battle from Johnny Depp’s point of view, while the second part presents Amber Heard’s point of view.
It will be available for viewing on the streaming platform on February 23 “Johnny vs. Amber: The Trial” dedicated to the conflict between the ex-spouses. It, again in two parts, follows the case between the two in the States.
After losing a high-profile libel case in London, Johnny Depp is filing a new lawsuit to clear his name in America. Access to his legal team sheds more light on the pair’s tumultuous marriage and their legal battle.

The case, whose outcome in Depp’s favor is known to date, has prompted further questions, side-taking and a huge backlash on social media with comments and memes, and raises an additional theme – that of the hate that pours out on the internet when they are involving public figures or stories of a personal nature that become public knowledge.
“Johnny vs. Amber” and “Johnny vs. Amber: The Trial” are original productions of Warner Bros. Discovery under the “Discovery+” brand.
