Confirming the attention it reserves for its customers, Poste Italiane has also updated the package of services offered by the Postamat ATMs, allowing you to make payments to your current account in total autonomy, avoiding queues at post offices. Here’s how to deposit cash at the Postamat ATM.
The operation is really easy and intuitive. Just insert your card and then select the item “Cash Deposit” from the context menu. At this point, the device will ask you to enter your pin code, after which it will be possible to insert banknotes. The counters accept banknote denominations of 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 euros. Once completed, the summary will appear on the screen. It will indicate the number of banknotes inserted for each denomination, the partial total, and the total amount of the deposit. Finally, the customer can choose whether to print the paper receipt with the details of the operation. Currently, the service is available on the new Postamat Cash – In ATMs, installed in the main Italian cities. But soon they will be extended to the whole national territory.
In conclusion, we remind you that Poste Italiane offers the possibility of withdrawing money in “cardless” mode, i.e. without the need to physically insert the card into the Postamat ATM. Available in the Postepay App and the BancoPosta App, the function allows holders of BancoPosta accounts, Postepay cards, credit cards from the major international circuits and holders of the Libretto card, to withdraw cash even without having the card with them and in just a few simple steps.
