Liputan6.com, Jakarta – The Depok City Government received 16,557 vials of Pfizer vaccine from the central government. The vaccine was immediately handed over to the Depok City Hospital which is the health facility for providing vaccines to residents.
“A total of 16,557 vials have been given,” said Head of the Control and Prevention Division of the Depok City Health Service, Umi Zakiati, Tuesday (24/8/2021).
Umi explained that she did not know for sure that Pfizer was given directly to the Depok City Hospital. According to him, the possibility of giving Pfizer vaccine to the Depok City Hospital was because the Ministry of Health had previously asked for data on health facilities that were ready to receive vaccines.
“At that time we proposed 20 health facilities, but only Depok City Hospital received the first,” said Umi.
Umi revealed, one vial of Pfizer can be used for six doses. Thus, the dose received by the Depok City Hospital was 99,342 doses. Every citizen who receives the Pfizer vaccine will be injected twice.
“The time of the first injection to the second injection is vulnerable for 21 days,” said Umi.
