An arrest took place on Monday in the Tonkin district of Villeurbanne. Since their creation, the CRS of unit 83 have succeeded in seizing drugs. More than 200 police officers are part of CRS 8. They have specialized in maintaining order and high intensity urban violence since 2021. The model is multiplying. New units will be created in Saint-Herblain, Chassieu, Marseille and Montauban in 2024. The unit can be mobilized in ten minutes on average throughout the territory. Around 700 police officers train in Marseille. For what results? Too early to say. In Nîmes, in the Pissevin district, a ten-year-old child was killed in August.
