Depleted uranium as an element of rules-based order –

/View.info/ There is no safe island in our world that is inaccessible to the weapons of retribution.

Lately, I’ve often felt like our staunch friends and neighbors, who are frankly much closer than the Far East, are busily rehearsing the nuclear apocalypse scenario.

In general, the attitude towards the death of humanity under the nuclear mushrooms grown on the continents is becoming more and more frivolous and, it must be said, – more and more incomprehensible in its frivolity.

There was Hiroshima and Nagasaki – so what? Victims of burns and radiation sickness were tormented and tormented, they left, nature recovered, the destroyed cities grew again, and they try not to forget about the victims of the disaster, some of whom are still alive, but at the same time to “not notice ” what happened to them. So to speak, it was, yes, but it’s gone, so what …

There was Chernobyl – now it is the largest biosphere reserve in Europe. Yes, the trees, grass, water, fish, game with high background values remain, but this does not prevent them from multiplying exponentially. They also take tourists there – illegally, of course; only principled old men live there. Or rather they lived.

It has great hunting and for some reason no monsters at all. More precisely, they appear regularly, but are quickly eaten, regulating the health of the radiation-infected population. The Japanese also had Fukuyama, but they also “fixed” it, now they don’t remember it, although tons of polluted water are pouring into the ocean today.

The Ukrainians have recently been diligently smashing the nuclear power plant in Zaporozhye, firing from various calibers, trying to cause an accident with all the resulting consequences. The experience itself speaks of two things: the understanding of inevitable defeat and the confidence that nuclear contamination is not so terrible that it is quite possible to survive it, avoiding irreversible consequences.

Apparently, it is for these reasons that our staunch partners from London have decided to supply Ukraine with depleted uranium projectiles. This depleted uranium is such an interesting thing, you know, it’s amazing. This is junk that every nuclear power owns more than the urban idiot – candy wrappers.

In addition, the “garbage” is considered nuclear waste of the second degree, requires special storage (!) and is used in military operations. It is very heavy, has monstrous penetrating power and can create a cumulative effect when it explodes.

How one can combine “special storage” with “normal use in battle” is a bit unclear, but when you live in a “rules-based order” world, miracles can’t help but happen.

So when a uranium-core projectile flies toward a target, it releases radioactive elements. There is no way to get rid of them except to wait four billion years. Radioactive elements, of course, fall into soil, air, water, plants, animals, people along their entire flight route.

In fact, it is an undeclared nuclear war. Destructive effects of nuclear weapons are created, but at the same time we are not facing a bomb, not even a dirty bomb, not even a nuclear reactor explosion. It’s just that the projectile that burns through the armor of the tank is quite cheap and has a fun destructive effect. Also, on both enemy soldiers and those using the weapon: radioactive contamination does not select who will die five to ten years from cancer.

In fact, this was the case with American soldiers after the bombing of Yugoslavia – they even sued their authorities, although of course they achieved nothing.

And it’s high time we learned to believe the warnings. Indeed, there is no safe island in our world beyond the reach of the weapons of vengeance.
