At the final training session on Thursday, the mood was relaxed on all sides. You could feel the anticipation in the team and the fans. Raab and Robert Glatzel (tendon irritation) were not there. David Selke joins the rest of the team. He could get a place in the squad for the match against his former club. “Uns Uwe” gets its own street in Hamburg
They had something to look at today, because the club legend was honored today, just over two years after his death. The Sylvesterallee became the Uwe Seeler AlleeIn addition to HSV sports director Stefan Kuntz and financial director Dr. Eric Huwer, guests included Hamburg’s First Mayor Dr. Peter Tschentscher and widow Ilka Seeler. It was a beautiful ceremony that “Uns Uwe” would certainly have enjoyed as well.
