For this election, the candidate of the Left and environmentalists united share in pairs with Jean-Luc Bernard, 55, works and housing assistant at the town hall of Désertines.
Christian Sanvoisin, the mayor of Désertines, elected departmental councilor with Geneviève De Gouveia six years ago, has chosen not to stand for re-election.
Geneviève de Gouveia and Jean-Luc Bernard are replaced by Remi Soulier, a 27-year-old caregiver, and Maria Tornero, 58, assistant for culture and communication at the town hall of Désertines.
