“We have 600 votes ahead of the next one. It’s a nice gap ”. With these words, Smaïl Djebara (PS), candidate for re-election in the canton of Pontault-Combault, does not hide his satisfaction.

The RN in the second round
In pairs with Sara Short-Ferjule, first assistant to Pontault-Combault, they collected 26.18%, or 2,333 votes. “We call on the whole left to come together and block the National Rally,” says Smaïl Djebara.
The pair of fist and rose will therefore be opposed to a frontist duo, composed of Michel Dumont and Lydie Lecaux. By achieving 18.79% of the vote, they eliminate Jean-Emmanuel Depecker and Audrey Guillois (LR), as well as the LREM deputy, Michèle Peyron, allied to Jonathan Zerdoun.
