Department of Highways by the Ministry of Transport Giving New Year’s gifts to motorists Open for free use of 5 motorway routes in accordance with the policy of “Transportation for the Happiness of the People” in order to reduce the cost burden of the people and to relieve traffic congestion problems during the New Year Festival 2024.
Details of 5 free motorway routes
Free running from 12:01 a.m. on December 28, 2023 – 12:00 a.m. on January 3, 2024 (7 days in total).
- Motorway 7 (Bangkok – Ban Chang)
- Motorway 9 (Bang Pa-in – Bang Phli)
- Motorway 9 (Phra Pradaeng – Bang Khun Thian)
Free running from 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 27, 2023 – 12:00 a.m. on Jan. 3, ’24.
- Motorway 81 (Bang Yai – Kanchanaburi) only during the West Nakhon Pathom Checkpoint – Kanchanaburi Checkpoint.
Open for free trial from 12:01 a.m. on December 28, 2023 onwards.
- Motorway 6 (Bang Pa-in – Nakhon Ratchasima) only during Pak Chong District – Nakhon Ratchasima Bypass.
