Los Denver Nuggets advanced at nba finals after qualifying for the playoffs as first in the West and beating the Minnesota Timberwolves in five games, the Phoenix Suns in six and sweeping the Los Angeles Lakers in four for the crown of the western conference.
Now, the Nuggets have a golden opportunity to make NBA history by winning their first championship. They completely dominated the Lakers, and with that allowed themselves a considerable amount of rest, while the Miami Heat, their Finals opponents, played seven games in their Eastern Conference championship series against the Boston Celtics.

Till the date, the Nuggets have played in five conference finals, including the one they just won against the Lakers. This, of course, was the first time they had done it after losing to the Lakers three times (2020, 2009, and 1985) and once to the Seattle SuperSonics (1978).
To be clear, the Nuggets just made history by reaching their first NBA Finals. However, as you can probably imagine, things could get a lot more historic if they manage to win the Larry O’Brien trophy at the expense of the Miami Heat.
