Denver Head Coach Michael Malone Defends Nikola Jokic’s Basketball Skills: “Show Him Some Goddamn Respect”

Denver head coach Michael Malone, after winning the series with the Lakers (4-0), spoke out in support of center Nikola Jokic.

According to Malone, the Serbian does not receive the respect that he deserved with his game.

“Jokic didn’t prove anything to me personally. Why do I say so? Because I already know that he is a big player. But I think Nikola showed all the rest of the people – at the national level – how serious everything he does. He didn’t just become MVP, he didn’t just make his triple-doubles, and all these stupid stories during the season are complete ignorance and nonsense.

Nikola has gone three rounds now and is averaging a triple-double per game in the playoffs. Have you ever seen such statistics? I’m serious – enough of this nonsense already (interrupted laughter in the press conference room – approx. Sports.ru). Jokic is a terrific player, show him some goddamn respect. Stop putting sticks in his wheels. He is a great player, give him the respect he deserves,” Malone said.

Ruddy Jokic is in the NBA Finals. Why are Nikola’s face and hands so red?

All Heat rivals go through the same adoption cycle. Gifs with Jimmy Butler will make him less painful
